Add one more to the list of public places that will be banning smoking….and this will be the first of its kind to go smoke free.
The Pico Mountain Ski Resort in Killington, Vermont will be the first of U.S Ski Resorts to go smoke free. Starting January 1, 2011 smoking will be banned from the resorts property. The decision was made because numerous guests at the resort do not like to stand in the lift lines next to smokers. The Resort is working along with the American Cancer Society to bring awareness and reduce the risk from second hand smoke to all employees and guests.
